This identity was introduced to society by writing the institution’s name in the middle area of the circle. The word “Petra” was derived from Greek, taken from Matthew 16:18 which means “Solid Rock”. The Logo of PPPK Petra is a triangle inside a circle and cross on the top of the triangle.
SYMBOL
TRIANGLE
The equilateral triangle, symbolizing the 3 essences of education: spiritual, mind, and physical education. It is also related to the three essences of education in the family, school, and church.
CROSS
The cross describes Christianity as the foundation of education in Petra schools. The cross is positioned at the top means that all of the 3 essences are oriented towards the truth of God.
CIRCLE
The representation of the Holy Spirit, which identical to everlasting love. It serves as the foundation of the three other essences above.
COLOUR
GREEN
The colour of youth, the hope of the nation, countr, and church.
PALE YELLOW
The color of maturity as a result of education, so that petra students will someday be responsible members of the society/church.
GOLDEN YELLOW
The color of purity and holiness.
